Retirement of Notifications

In July 2024, The Yamaha Agriculture will be enhancing platform security by implementing a retirement plan for Notifications.

This update is part of our efforts to integrate Notifications with configured Recommendations, providing a more comprehensive solution for crop management.

This is effective as of 5pm December 5th, 2024 (AEDT).

Steps to support this transition:

1. In-App Notifications: All in-app Notifications will be turned off.

2. SMS Predictive Notifications: Predictive Notifications via SMS will cease.

3. Retirement of SMS Notifications for Observed Events: We will notify you in advance when SMS Notifications for Observed events will be retired.

4. Creation and Editing of Notifications: Creating and editing Notifications, including through our Support team, will no longer be possible.

What do I need to do?

You do not need to take any immediate action. We will reach out to you once these updates are implemented. If you are using an older version of The Yamaha Agriculture Mobile App, you may be prompted to update it to ensure continued functionality.

How do I continue to view observed weather conditions?

You can still access observed weather conditions directly within The Yamaha Agriculture Mobile App on the 14-Day or Next 180-Day screens.
